340R 'Boost tube' Carbon Engine Cover

'Boost tube' carbon fibre rear engine cover for owners
looking to increase the power of the Lotus 340R in its
standard or track up rated guise. Construction is 4plys
LTM 26 2*2 twill carbon prepreg, with LTM26 Carbon/Kevlar
hybrid 2*2 twill prepreg localised reinforcement. The
whole assembly is cured using aerospace techniques in
an autoclave pressurised at 30psi. 1. Crisper throttle
response. 2. Magnificent induction roar under load (similar
to a superbike) 3. More free revving engine." 2.77PS
ram effect @120mph based on 11.59mbar (0.1622psi) measured
boost. 3.75PS Temperature effect at all speeds, based
on measured 10'C intake drop. Total effect at 120mph
